I was so proud to work with my colleagues at SORCE to develop Parallaxes a one-day Research-Creation symposium!
Held November 10, 2022 at The Cfreative School Catalyst at Toronto Metropolitan University, the event brought together presenters working in a diverse range of fields such as Education, Performance Studies, Fashion, Communications, Visual Arts, Sociology and more to discuss how their individual approaches to creative practice are informed by, worked through or presented via creative practices.
It was so great hearing about everyone’s projects and getting to hang out with friends in a mutually supportive environment! Big thanks to The Creative School, The Catalyst at Toronto Metropolitan University, The Media & Design Innovation PhD Program, Communications and Culture Graduate Students Association at York, and the Joint Program for Communications and Culture at TMU and York for supporting this experimental endeavour.
I’m looking forward to next year already!
