Created for the POPECULLEN Projects Graduate Creative-Research Residency hosted at the Gibraltar Point Centre for the Arts. This walk through Toronto’s thirty-two kilometre, subterranean mall, introduced students to my walking research methodology of scenographic chorography, while orienting them toward critical engagement with Land, place, history, and memory. As part of my dissertation i created an accompanying photo and text-based guide book to the PATH. The book takes design and narrative inspiration from sixteenth century English chorographies , particularly, William Lambarde’s 1576 book A Perambulation Of Kent, Conteining The Description, Hystorie, And Customes Of That Shire.
